http://www.weblogdesign.com | Kids Do the Darndest Things Tuesday. 7.27.04 7:01 pm Yes, isn't it so true? Don't kids just do the darndest things? I mean, what they say is darn cute, but what they do is even more fascinating. The reason why I decided to write about kids and what they do is because I saw some warning thing on a plastic bag. It was a warning to not to keep the bag close to infants or children, in a play pen, etc. Then, it just strucked me instantly-- my childhood. Man, I was some weird kid. I remembered this one time . . . I put my arms through the loops and thought that if I jumped off the couch, I could land with this "real" parachute. I did it, then I watched tv. Hmm . . . I remember this other time I would make an "experiment." I thought I was the coolest kid in the world because I made a "cool" experiment. At the time, we would get ants in the house because of summer, so I decided to use some ants as my experiment. I would take them and put them in a plastic cup, I went upstairs to the bathroom, and then I would put this glop of lotion, water, and hand soap in it. I thought I created a cool thing. I forgot what happened after that. I think I threw it out. Hmm, when I was seven-ish my mom used to put this thing in my hair before leaving these formal parties. It was a sort of hair gel that was . . . weird. It wasn't even gel. It was more like some thicker substance. Anyway, I went to the bathroom and wanted my hair to be cool so I took it and covered my whole head with it. I showed my mom and she had to take off the mess in my hair. Yes, kids do the darndest things . . . but thankfully I'm not like that anymore. I think I did other weird things too. 2 Comments.
